Same issue... Remote works fine except you can't click Apps. Working earlier, but just started having an issue around 2pm EST. Rebooted several times, updated software, changed batteries in the remote, but still won't work. Finally downloaded Roku app on my phone so I can click directly on apps, then I can use the physical remote.

Glad it worked you you also, now all we need to do is get the attention of someone at Roku about this issue and have them roll out a fix to all affected users ASAP. I just registered here to let others know about this workaround but have no idea on how to get this info to Roku staff.

Another one over here. Only thing I’ve tried differently then what has been said was to try and do a software update. It highlighted the first app like it was going to work, but didn’t.

Am having the same issue. Just started about 20 minutes ago. Worked previously. Hoping that if enough people are noting the problem, they will work on a fix quickly.

Hey had this issue went through the system settings for accessibility and turned it all off. Was able to select after. Wasn't paying attention to the settings was just turning everything off. I also used the hide option for all the home screen options. When done app selection worked.

Thanks for that!!! -- I thought I was going crazy. As chance would have it I had just hooked up an antenna and was scanning for channels, having cancelled YouTubeTV because of their price increase, and then this problem came up. Thought I was going to have to wipe my TV and start all over again.

I can no longer scroll over the tile channels. It only allows me to scroll over the ad...I have restarted numerous times,changed remote batteries, and power cycled. I have Software Version: 14.1.4, Build: 7708. My player is the Roku Ultra 4800X. PLEASE FIX THIS BUG!
