Was watching channels with no issue. Went back to Home Screen and I cannot highlight any of my apps. If I go to the far right and load the advertised channel, all apps disappear. Tried multiple system resets. Apps come back but same problem. Unplugged for 5 minutes. Same problem. Checked and reset network connection. No issues. In fact I can tune to content previous watched and with new episodes on the entertainment tab. Software up to date.
Having the same issue with a Roku ultra. One restart made it work but now it won't work at all. Just lets me pick the left menu or the right ad but can't highlight the apps.
I see many other users who are describing the exact same problem. I started experiencing this today. I've done all of the troubleshooting and resetting and batteries etc etc this is obviously a Roku software problem That has never been resolved. I have a TCL Roku TV. My software version is 14.0.4 build 12221. How soon is Roku going to fix this obvious problem that so many users are experiencing?
When I try to click a channel non my home page it jumps over it to only select the ad on the side it will not let me select a channel but I can scroll through settings etc.. or the ads but not select a channel.
I have restarted my Roku via the system restart 4 times now. Any one else have this issue and how did you fix it?
I have a 3800X streaming stick and I have the same problem... I swear by Gawd and sonny Jesus if the roku in my living room is borked like this I'm going to launch a gawd-**bleep** crusade.
Just started today after an update... What the **bleep** is this All things Food **bleep**? God **bleep**, stop with advertisements **bleep**... The entire menu is one big useless Advertisement BLOCK!!! Tired of this **bleep**.

I was having this same problem. To fix it I went into Settings > Home Screen > All Things Food > Hide.
