How can something be listed as solved when it's still being investigated?
Can you provide some more information? Like how old the TV is, when did it work last, make, model and serial number. It may also be something you may want to contact your TV maker as well.

The tv is onn.32" class HD (720p) Led roku smart tv
My Roku plus series tv has the bug where it shuts down immediately after turning on. I purchased this tv within the last two weeks from Amazon. It seems like the tv was never shutoff and was in a power saving mode and my turning it on was really turning it off. Turned on with no issues immediately after powering down.
This has been happening for a while now. 90% of the time I turn on the TV within a few seconds it shows the shutting down indicator in the corner of the screen and it turns itself back off. I thought maybe it was because the remote battery was low (the rechargeable one) so I charged it, didnt help. I thought maybe its a bug with sn update but I think theres been updates since this started and its not resolved. Any ideas on what it could be?
Mine is doing the same thing. It is passed the 90 days so I guess I am stuck with it unless they will stand behind their product, also if I press volume up or down it does 4 numbers not 1.
I just got this TV and when I power on the tv with the remote and then press the right arrow button to navigate to the apps, the tv powers off. It seems like the arrow button briefly acts as if I pressed the power button again. Once I turn the tv back on everything works fine, but I continue having this issue after the TV has been off for a while. Is it the remote? Is it the TV? I called support and the lady had me reset the TV and it seemed to correct the issue, but it started doing it again. Does anyone know a fix. It’s annoying and I don’t want to have to return the TV.

I suspect the problem may be your neighbors using Roku app for remote instead of having a real physical remote. The reason being I live in an apartment building and recently my daughter in law was upstairs visiting her friend. Our 4 Roku TVs were allowing her to connect. We finally had an explanation after months of changing WiFi password as well as having our provider come to see how someone was changing our channels, switching apps, turning off the tv at random. I’ve tried to find a way to contact Roku directly to speak on the matter but no success!!!
explain to me Roku!! How is it that someone can connect to a device not listed or registered to their account?anyone have an answer?
