[Solved] Roku TV Shuts Off Unexpectedly

Hey everyone,

Update 1/16/25: We think we've found a fix for this issue, but it's only affecting a few users. We're sending it out to some folks for testing.

Want to help? Send me a PM with your Roku TV Device ID (found in Settings > System > About).

We'll be closing this thread now. Thanks for your help and patience!

Thanks,

I’d like to get the fix for this problem, but apparently, that is not possible.  I can’t send a PM to the person who reportedly fixed the problem because I don’t know how, I’ve asked how can I send a PM and get no response.  So, there is absolutely no support from ROKU.  I can still return the TV so that seems to be my only option.

DonnaJack , apparently one cannot send email as a 'visitor', one has to become a 'newbie' before the message/email option appears.  I became a newbie by making a post.  After that, click on the Admin's name (eg- RokuMaryEF) and the email option should appear.

  • How do I PM you with the TV device ID and settings? We continue to have this issue and would like the fix. Thanks and happy new year!

Yay! Thank you so much -- I just did the update from last week on my Roku set and it took care of the issue! Thank you again!
