list languages in description

Jump to solution

why can't you put the language in descriptions of shows and movies.  It is very annoying to read the description in english then start a movie to find out it is in another language,

If you are asking about selections in the Roku Channel, the option to view Audio and Subtitle tracks are still available in the description. (Roku just made it more difficult to find with their never-ending UI redesigns).

After making a selection, look for the 3 dots (...) next to the "Save" button under selection's description. (generally, you will see "Trailer", "Save" and "..." as available options).

This will reveal the Captions and Audio Tracks available of that selection. [Captions and Audio Track box should appear after pressing the 3 dots].

----

If you have already started playing the selection, you can press "Pause", then press "Up" arrow to see and also change the Audio Track and Subtitle tracks if available.

If the selection is playing in another language other than what is indicated in these info screens, and cannot be changed, then there is an error/issue with the content.  Can always bring to the attention of Roku, but usually just faster/easier to see if content is available on another channel/app rather than waiting for a fix.
