The 100012589 32" onn TV was having issues. The apps downloaded (tubi, Pluto, YouTube and Media player) would close after opening. Immediately after opening you would see a black screen flash then you'd be back on the home screen. So removed each channel check for a system update then restarted via power menu. Reinstalled each app still same issue so I factory reset. Issue resolved. 3 months later same issue with the apps closing this time it was just tubi not all of them. I verified it wasn't a tubi sever issue or an Internet issue and decided to again remove app check for updates restart and reinstall. Same issue tubi won't open so I factory reset. This time it sat on the Roku start up screen for about an hour. After an hour I unplugged it. After the unplug it boot loops. Red light flashes it sits on the Roku screen for a min then restarts. I boot it into recovery mode attempt a factory reset and it just sits on the Roku screen 30+ mins I boot it into recovery mode attempt update it fails at 50ish percent. So I downloaded the software from Roku to flashdrive fails at 50ish percent. I try a different USB device it fails at 50ish percent. I buy a new one download a new file and it fails at 50ish percent always about 53 percent.
I figured it out. I ran the factory reset in recovery mode again to no avail just sat there for 20-30 minutes before I got it to boot back to recovery then I tried the factory reset from the online menu again but I put the flash drive in before starting it this time and I'm watching TV now....
Its back to the whole apps not responding where it flashes the apps splash screen then goes instantly to the home screen. Unplugged and plugged back in it started boot looping... After factory reset it was still boot looping... When I get home I'm sure the USB update will fix it but can anyone offer any reasons it does this every few months. It was bought new. I have 3of the same models size n all and they don't do it nor give me any problems.
