Screen mirroring worked perfectly fine the other day w/ my Roku, until today whenever I try to connect to my roku as a display from my XPS 9320 it freezes about 30% through the "loading video..." screen after pressing the allow device to stream prompt on my remote. I've continually poured through posts, gone through all my drivers, updated them all and everything. I've kept my device mode on prompt only, restarted the roku through settings, etc etc etc and it's getting to be extremely frustrating, someone please help!
note: roku specs
tv c256x
hisense model 43r6+
software version 11.90.0 build 4193-94
nothing fixes it. this happened to me at the end of last year and none of the fixes fixed it
Thanks for the post.

Connecting my laptop to my Roku Ultra using software version 13 (screen mirroring)
The computer says I am connected to Roku Ultra but the Roku screen is stuck at "starting video from..."
I have made sure both devices are on the same network
I have tried restarting my Roku
I have tried restarting my Roku and my laptop
I have reset my Roku
I have reset my Wi-Fi
I made sure my network was set to private
Last week I was not having any issues mirroring thru my Roku and it seems this is not a new issue or one you have addressed to a conclusion
Isn't anybody from H/P, Microsoft, or Roku paying attention. My brand new Windows 11 "Edge" laptop connects to Roku TV for Screen Mirroring, but only mirrors my laptop desktop, audio, and mouse movements. Does NOT show any other window I open up on the laptop, nor any video, but upon opening the connection, only shows "Starting video from...", with no apparent way to stop this unknown video, or break away from that hang-up. Something on the computer end is blocking anything personal from showing up on the screen mirror. I disengaged the firewall and that did not help. I updated all drivers, rebooted a zillion times, ran troubleshooters, unplugged Roku TV for 5 minutes, restarted the network adapter, and still the same thing happens every time....Roku TV only shows "Starting video from...". Can anyone figure out what we're missing here? Seems we're so close to solving this. 😞
