Roku won’t unmute. Keeps talking in a creepy voice and telling me everything I am doing

My Roku Channel is telling me in a creepy voice everything I am doing.. search.. name on channel… home… guide.. etc.. I didn’t actively add this or change.. help!

@Valaddington, the setting is in the Roku device's settings.  You can also press * on your Roku remote four times to disable the screen reader.

Your screen reader is on. Go to settings, then accessibility & language, screen reader turn off.

If im understanding you correctly, that voice is creepy, lol

Hi!

  Where is settings located? On the Roku App? Roku screen? So tech challenged.  And yes the female voice is very creepy lol!
