We'd be more than willing to assist you with this concern about getting an error "This USB device requires more power," even if you don't have a USB plug-in to your Roku device/TV.

Could you please let us know if you are using a Roku device or TV and, if so, what the model is? This will help us investigate the issue closely.

In the meantime, we highly suggest you try the following troubleshooting steps: 

Restart your Roku device:
Remove the power cord from your Roku device/TV for at least 10 seconds before plugging it back in. If reaching the power cord is inconvenient, you can also use the instructions below.

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote 
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
  5. Select System restart
