Hi! I have an issue too! I connect Roku by Alexa’s app and everything is fine, but she says “Roku doesn’t respond”. I did the connection a few times, and I turn off both and then turned on, and it’s not working, I don’t know why.
I have Alexa echo dot and Roku express (both are updated).

I already went through the steps to connect my Roky with Alexa multiple times and did not work too. I tried resetting the tv, resetting both the skill and the app, and nothing 😞
