Roku hired someone to update software, and they keep breaking older models

Hi,
I bought a 50" Roku TV in 2016.. it works fine.

I wanted to watch the world series.. via digital antennae inside the TV.
I chose LIVE TV because "Antennae" was removed from my UI for some reason.

But "Live TV" showed streaming channels and not local TV channels.
I turned off show Streaming channels in LIVE TV.. and went back to the LIVE TV app.. but nothing changed, I had to unplug the TV and plug it back in.

I disconnected the network from the TV..and opened LIVE TV app.. and still only streaming channels showed via a cache of the guide. Still no local channels.

I had to jump through hoop after hoop after hoop..  I finally got it to work.


Long story short: I am never buying ROKU anything, EVER AGAIN.

P.S. I have 22 years in technical development and device software development.  THIS WAS NOT A USER PROBLEM.  LOOK AT THE FORUMS.. THERE'S COUNTLESS PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS SH!TSHOW OF UPDATES THAT BREAK THE TVS!
