Re: Roku Ultra disconnects from airplay every free minutes

We're grateful to have you here in the Roku Community, @A_Nelson!

Thank you for letting us know about the issues you've been experiencing with the Airplay feature on your Roku Ultra. No worries! We're here to find you the best resolution possible.

In this case, we suggest rebooting your Roku Ultra through Settings > System > Power (skip if unavailable) > System restart. Also, reset the existing paired devices on your Airplay by navigating to your iPhone's Settings > Airplay > About Airplay

If the issue persists, we'd be happy to coordinate this with the appropriate Roku team for further investigation. With this being said, kindly provide us with the following details below:

  • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and OS version. (this can all be found in Settings > System > About)
  • Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID)
  • Your iPhone's IOS version and model.

We'll be anticipating your response as we'd be eager to help you utilize the Airplay feature again.

Best regards,
Carly

Re: Roku Ultra disconnects from airplay every free minutes

@A_NelsonI'd recommend you hunt for an app similar to WiFi Analyzer for Android since its possible the problem is channel congestion. This way you'll be able to see how many others are using the same channel and then log into your router and switch to a different one. Dropped signals, poor speeds or disconnects are often linked to congestion. Best of success regardless!
