Roku: Not a single person likes this feature! Your only response is, "we will let the appropriate people know." That is response is really ridiculous. Either figure out a way to remove or hide this feature as soon as possible. This has really soured me on Roku. I don't understand why it was not with options to begin with and why it is so difficult to make an adjustment now.

I am not sure that this issue is being recognized.  There are a lot of potential problems with this feature.  I do not like everything I watch being widely broadcast to anyone that turns on my tv.   I would like control over whether my watch history is used to push other titles.  At least this should be an optional feature, not something uncontrollable.  Also, are there any parental controls to limit what is suggested?  I'm not happy.

It appears this is not a new issue. Do you have a timeline on when this major issue will be addressed?

My ‘Recommended for you’ section now shows semi-adult titles from the Roku channel with scantily clad women. Not really excited about my 6-year-old twins asking me what this is every time I turn the tv on. Is it too much to ask to not recommend questionable adult content on the home screen?

This DOES NOT NEED A REVIEW.........It needs to be removed or give us the option to remove it. There are "adult" titles showing up when there are children who could be seeing the screen. Very UNPROFESSIONAL of ROKU to add such a thing without the users permission.

I never would have logged on to this community page if it wasn’t for the fact that out of nowhere titles that sound semi pornographic/show very sexual contact with same sex partners have been displaying on the top row on my home page listed as “Recommended For You on The Roku Channel”. First of all I don't use the Roku channel, second of all the movies and shows I do watch on my paid subscription services have absolutely nothing in common with what’s being shown as soon as my tv is turned on. I have young daughters that under no circumstances should be seeing this type of content. It’s not just my master bedroom tv displaying this filth, it’s also showing up on their playroom Roku as well. I would NEVER give my consent for my children to be exposed to any of this adult content and the fact that I can’t remove it has me livid!! If this isn’t fixed immediately we will be pulling the plug!!

We are having the same issue. My daughter has told me the titles and graphics make her feel uncomfortable. Please fix this soon - it’s not right to make kids feel uncomfortable, Roku.

Roku you need to address these issues now. Your mouthpieces in chat assuring us that they are 'providing our feedback to the appropriate team' are not very reassuring at all! It's completely obvious all they are doing is copying and pasting from a script of pre written responses designed to post here in order to make us feel as though our complaints are being heard.

I question whether Roku takes our complaints seriously or just ignores them and keeps doing whatever they want. When are we going to see results? How many weeks does it have to take? Roku designed these problems, fix them! NOW!!!

putting ads under the textual menu!!!  literally how low can you go?

whatever "updates" have prompted these new desperate attempts to gain advertising has pissed off many people who used to be fans.

now even with new batteries in the remote and a reboot there is a definitive delay when pressing the buttons, many times having to press the same button 2 or three times.  other roku users have confirmed this problem as well.  this started after your recent changes to the home screen.

I won't be buying any more of your products or recommending them to clients.  pitiful.

Adding my voice here. SERIOUSLY dislike the Recommended For You row. My suggestion is move it to the bottom of the tiles, and give parents the option to turn it off completely.
