Simple as that. A massive mistake, the developer(s) in charge here clearly don't even use or test their own products and it's complete and utter incompetence.

Do you need someone to manage these idiot devs? You can hire me cheap and I'll make the live TV feature perfect for almost everyone, it's easy, you're just very dumb.

It now takes me 7+ clicks to get back to my favorites after checking a single channel. This is insane.

Your irritation regarding the new live banner containing channels you do not wish to watch is understandable. The platform controls this update through its algorithm or recent system update. You should try modifying your preferences while using the platform or hiding recommendations which you don't like to provide feedback to the platform management. The platform needs to work on better customization features for upcoming software revisions.

In your original post you said "Please let us (know) if you need further clarification or need more help." Did you really mean this?

We do need clarification. Can you please tell us why Roku thought this new "feature" is better. We are willing to listen. Please help us understand.

@RokuMaryEFWhy does Roku get to decide which response to my problem is the "Solution"? Your Solution is NOT the solution, unless Rokus's policy is to ignore the customer.

The new feature is TERRIBLE!  I tried for 3 days to remove the boxes above the TV guide.  I DO NOT want this to show up since now I have to press extra buttons on my remote to bypass the "suggestions".  I'm about a nat's hair away from deleting my Roku account.  Please add an option so we can remove this ridiculous addition.  PLEASE don't think for us!   Offer it to us and we will add it IF we want.  Don't add it automatically!

Many of us have been stuck with this "feature" for the past couple months. I'm guessing that we were their initial test subjects and that it's now gone live for everyone using a Roku device, which is why so many people are posting complaints this week. Hopefully more people will keep posting their objections because it seems up until now we've been ignored. I'm with you, If this isn't remedied I too will delete my Roku account. Because of this intrusion, I bought a TIVO device and a Google TV for my shop and office last month.

Yes, I just experienced the same thing. My email notification said you replied to me, when you had not. You're correct, even their forum is hosed.

If I could change what is listed in the new upper panel, that would be great. At the moment it is random and not my top favorites.

Why do you call it "Solved" when obviously there is no solution? This was another Roku stupid move. Have you ever heard the saying if it ain't broke , don't fix it? Leave stuff alone already!!!
