Is it possible to bypass the roku home screen to use the t.v. as a traditionnal t.v?

Jump to solution

(Philips ROKU tv)

Most of the time, I watch regular tv so I have to use two steps to do that. I would like to just turn the tv on like an old regular tv (not "intelligent"). I don't use the ROKU home screen for Prime Video because it does not deal with language settings (only english available). So it would be like turning off the ROKU interface and use my tv input only. I have more control this way for my streaming options.

Thank you

Look under Settings->System->Power for the "Power on" (I think that's what it's called) setting.
