Favorites above TV Guide - new feature
Roku people - please add a disable feature for this instead of having to remove all favorites from list. Very inconvenient when all we want is simplicity.

Re: On Now above channel guide
Get rid of On Now feature. At least give us a way to deactivate it.

Re: Favorites above TV Guide - new feature
Understand this. As a result of this "feature" I will NEVER again buy a ROKU TV. Beyond the disrespect shown to your customers by forcing this on us with no way to turn it off, since it's been added my guide has been experiencing a number of glitches which never used to occur.
And this morning I am hearing your are "testing" forcing ads onto the audience BEFORE the home screen loads. Clearly you don't give a **bleep** about your customers and only about ad revenue. Beyond not buying another ROKU Smart TV, I will be urging people across several platforms NOT to buy ROKU TVs or devices. Saving up for a replacement TV already. Thanks for nothing.

Re: Favorites above TV Guide - new feature
You aren’t alone. I currently own 5 Roku TV’s and am in the process of selling every one of them. Enough is enough. The top menu may be for some however to force this on people is bad business.
Since the menu has appeared, whenever I want to change the channel I am forced to power off wait 5 or 6 seconds, power up to view my chosen channels otherwise the entire menu shows “No Information”
We are watching Roku’s failure in real time.

Re: Favorites above TV Guide - new feature
I haven't had to power off, but I have been getting the No Info display often. I am USUALLY able to fix it by going back out to the Home Screen then going back into the guide, but not every time.
Btw, I forgot to mention how annoying it is that every few days I have to reset my wallpaper because they changed it and turn off the list of options shown on my home screen. (The last couple of days were Sports options, I never watch) They don't even ask us if we'd like to add these things. The lack of respect they show to their customers is stunning. Appreciate your response, Rich.

Re: Favorites above TV Guide - new feature
Thank you very much. I will go back to the Home Screen and do as you said. That will save some time.
It appears Roku couldn’t care any less about customer experience or expectations.
I am tired of being forced to accept their stupidity every time the TV is on.
Their time is up. No Mire Roku for this family. I will spread the word about what Roku does everywhere I can.

Re: Favorites above TV Guide - new feature
@RokuEmmanuel-D @RokuTakashi And all other Roku moderators and employees:
This is unacceptable.
No developer in their right mind would have implemented this feature. You obviously didn't think about this or even test it out first.
This change (banner of useless channels) is 100% so terrible that everyone involved should be fired.
And since you're not going to do that, you should immediately roll back your software and remove it before you lose more customers.
I personally have stopped using Live TV and many other users have too, in other threads we're discussing PLex and other alternatives that people are using now instead.
No one in their right mind would think making it take 7+ clicks to get back to where you were in the channel guide is acceptable. And I'm going to bring this to the attention of Jeff Hensien and everyone else in upper management.
Your weak, worthless responses only act as reinforcement that I'm correct, you don't care, and you deserve to lose customers.
I will do my best to help people off of Roku and onto other platforms.
Now is your chance to respond and tell us that you're actually going to do something because the feedback has overwhelmingly been terrible.
At the least, change it so when we re-enter the guide from viewing a channel, it goes back to where we left off in the guide instead of defaulting to the banner. Seriously.
This is unacceptable and in my years of management and software projects I've never seen such a display of incompetence.
TELL US YOU'LL FIX THIS OR ELSE WE'RE LEAVING YOUR PLATFORM.
