Do I need a 4k roku stick if I already have a 4k tv?
I already have a 4k smart tv, do I need to get a 4k roku to get 4k quality or can I just get a regular Roku since I already have a 4k tv and still be able to get 4k quality?
I am considering Roku express (non 4k) or Roku streaming stick 4k.
The Roku 4k devices will allow you to stream up to 4k quality. Non-4k Roku devices will allow you to stream HD quality (up to 1080p).
Since you have a 4k TV, you will need a 4k Roku device in order to stream 4k content and receive 4k video quality.
You can certainly use a non-4k Roku device on your 4k TV, but you will be limited to 1080p and not be able to stream 4k content.
