I need to listen to the Roku tv and wireless headphones at the same time.
Welcome, @Shelbi!
Thanks for sharing it here in the Roku Community!
We understand you wanted to use the wireless headphones and TV speakers simultaneously.
Please note that when you switch to Headphones mode on your TV, the built-in speakers will automatically turn off. This means that all audio will exclusively be routed through the headphones, allowing for a private listening experience without any sound coming from the TV itself.

I have the same issue. The wireless headset is need for a person with a hearing handicap however the rest of the family would like to be able to watch the TV at the same time. Is there any way around having the tv speakers turn off. This would be a good option to add.
Hi, @mparks48
Thanks for posting, and welcome to the Roku Community.
We understand your inquiry regarding the audio set-up of the Roku TV and the Wireless Headphones, specifically allowing the TV's built-in speakers while the Headphones mode is active.
As advised by @RokuEmmanuel-D, the TV speakers will be disabled when the Headphone mode is active while using Wireless Headphones.
We hope for your understanding regarding this matter.
Let us know if you have further concerns or inquiries. We're here to help.
Best wishes,
Kash
Regarding using BOTH TV speakers and headphones:
Check the TV rear jackpack or owners manual for a Digital optical audio out (S/PDIF) jack and use wireless headphones with an optical input on the transmitter.
Or for using wireless headphones with an analog input use Digital optical audio out (S/PDIF) to an inexpensive Digital to Analog Audio Converter.
Or use the Digital to Analog Audio Converter output to an inexpensive Bluetooth transmitter for your Bluetooth headphones.
My new LG tv has Bluetooth transmission. How would I hook up soundbar and Bluetooth headphones to work together?
Try pairing both to tv, Bluetooth 5.0 and newer versions can connect multiple devices at once.
