Vizio Sound System Randomly Not Working

Today after 6 months of use with no issue my Vizio sound system (M512a-H6). Stopped working. I’ve done everything conceivable. Reset both to factory, switched on and off every setting on the TV, unplugged, tried different cables, unplugged all other devices. The remote for the sound system will still raise and lower the volume and mute and unmute the TV but no audio is output. So clearly there is some connection. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We would like to look into this concern further. Would you mind providing us with more details?

  1. Roku device or TV model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About).
  2. When did the issue start?
  3. A photo or video clip of the said issue.

Additionally, we would recommend trying the Vizio Sound System on another TV to check if the same issue occurs.
