I am currently using TCL R655 and TCL Alto 8 Plus 2.1.2 Channel Dolby Atmos Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer “TS8212”.
when matching movies or series with Dolby Atmos, the sound bar display show Dolby Almos but for some reason the Xbox Series S cannot recognize. Why??? It should that TV don’t support it. This don’t make sense…
Tv audio is set to Pass Through on eArc HMDI port.
if something need to be done??? Also HDMI port is 2.1 and cable support 2.1 too.
Same issue here with Xbox Series X
Hello @Emameso
Thanks for posting here in the Community.
We would be more than happy to look further into the issue but will need more details. What devices are you connecting with your home setup? Is the Roku device connected to your AVR/Xbox or is connected directly to your TV? Have you tried switching out the HDMI cable used to connect the Roku device? In addition, what channel and content are you seeing this issue occur with?
For more information about how to properly connect your Roku device for surround sound, visit our Support page here: Set up your player for surround sound
With more information, we will be able to assist you further. We look forward to hearing back from you.
Regards,
