Stupid question: With a TCL Roku Smart TV (model #32S359) can I stream a movie/program before I fall asleep -- set the sleep timer -- and it's perfectly safe for the Smart TV?
*I'm used to streaming from a device/player separate from the TV.

My question is: Does the sleep timer only turn off the TV itself and NOT the streaming app you had on at the time?
Hi @pete999,
Thanks for the quick response.
If I'm understanding the question correctly, you are inquiring about a feature that will you to continue your audio streaming while the screen is turned off, is that correct?
The Sleep timer feature will power off the screen on your Roku TV including the streaming channel after a designated amount of time.
However, if you prefer to audio stream while the screen is off. We recommend enabling the feature called Fast TV Start this will allow you to listen to audio streamed from a Bluetooth device such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer when the TV screen is off.
You can enable Fast TV Start on your Roku TV at any time using the instructions below:
To learn more including which players support this feature, check out the article that explains How to listen to music when the screen on your Roku TV is off | Official Roku Support
If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know.

I do not have a "Time" setting on my Roku TV I bought a couple of months ago. I would like to be able to set the sleep timer if I can find it
There is no "Power" selection on my Roku TV. What do I do now?
Hello! @bestone51,
What device are you using right now? (e.g. Roku Express, Roku Streambar, Roku TV)
What is the other option? Or click the Fast TV start directly.
Thanks,
Arjiemar
Can you add this to the app. I don’t know where my remote is right now and wish I could do this on the iPhone app
