Hello, not sure if this is the right place for it. Using my Roku tv I have my Apple TV plugged into it along with a sound bar. The past week if the screen is idle for too long (around 5 minutes) the sound goes off. The only way I found to fix it is to turn the tv off and then on. I’ve had my tv sound bar and Apple TV all for around 2 years. Is there any known fix?

Hi @ujiunwo2,
Welcome to the Roku Community!
We understand that your Roku TV does not have audio. We would be more than willing to help you with additional troubleshooting steps.
Before we proceed with troubleshooting, we would like to understand if you are experiencing this issue only when your Apple TV box and soundbar are connected to the Roku TV. If that is the case, we recommend that you disconnect all external devices from the Roku TV and then check the audio to see if it is functioning properly, even without the Apple TV box and soundbar.
If the issue, persists, I recommend you try the following:
Reset TV Audio:
- Press the Home button on your Roku remote
- Scroll down and Select Settings
- Select System
- Select Advance System Settings
- Select Factory Reset but do not click on "Factory reset everything"
- Reset TV Audio and Picture settings.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
After resetting the TV audio, please try again to restart the system by following these steps:
- Press Home on your Roku remote
- Scroll and select Settings
- Select System
- Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
- Select System restart
After your Roku TV powers back on, make sure it is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. Then, you can try to check if the audio works.
We look forward to your response.
Regards,
Riamie
