So Roku no longer is producing sound from my Sonia speakers. I have to reset everything (ie., restart the modem/router, unplugged tv, etc.) for it to work again. When I turn off the tv and turn it back out I lose sound. Anyone else having issues like this?
Hi @Jrubin,
Warm greetings here in the Roku Community, and we appreciate you getting in touch.
Could you tell us when you first noticed the problem occurring in the system? Have you attempted to use the speaker with a different TV in order to see whether or not there is a difference?
With more detailed information, we'll be able to provide you with the appropriate next step.
Regards,
Rey
My kitchen Roku was working fine a week ago. Tonight I turned it on and I have no sound. I tried to fix the problem by looking at my Roku audio settings but nothing worked. My Samsung television is connected to a Sonos Sound Bar.
The Roku audio setting are as follows:
Menu volume: High
Audio Mode: Stereo
Preferred Language: English
Preferred Streaming Format: Auto
Digital Output Format: Auto
What do I need to do to regain sound? Thanks for any assistance offered.
Hi @TXLady541,
Thanks for keeping us posted!
Since you are unable to hear any sound, we will be more than delighted to help you further with your audio issue. Please try unplugging the TV, Sonos soundbar, and Roku from power for about a minute, then plug them back in again.
Let us know how it works!
All the best,
John
