So for the past month all the roku tv’s and Roku plug ins have been going haywire!! Out of nowhere screen reader becomes enabled, the volume turns to 100, you can’t get it back down, and if you’re even able to disable screen reader, it just comes right back on, flips through everything and keeps raising volume to 100. None of us touch our remotes so we know it’s not that. This is a serious problem please someone help!! #Rokufixthis

Hello! @Taralynn5683,
Thanks for the post,
We appreciate you reaching out to us about your Roku device. We're pleased to assist.
- What Roku device are you using right now?
- Is this the first time you have experienced this issue?
- What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far to resolve the issue?
- Do you have any other device/s connected to your TV?
A system restart is the least invasive way to reset your system. You can also perform a system restart from the Settings menu by following the instructions below.
- Press Home on your Roku remote
- Scroll and select Settings
- Select System
- Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
- Select System restart
In either case, your Roku device will complete a system restart and hopefully return to normal operation after a moment.
Please keep us updated on your findings so that we can continue to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thanks,
