I'm just wondering if I can use a Roku Bass Pro Subwoofer as a Second Subwoofer with My Setup.
I currently have a 2024 Roku 4K Ultra streaming box (4850R) connected to an LG C4 TV (HDMI 2-port) and an LG S95TR soundbar system, which is connected via HDMI ARC/eARC and includes one wireless subwoofer and two satellites. I want to add a second subwoofer to enhance the bass performance in my setup. However, the LG S95TH soundbar itself does not support pairing with multiple subwoofers.
I want to run a Roku Bluetooth woofer through my Roku box alongside my LG soundbar as a second subwoofer.
My question is: Can I connect a Roku Bass Pro Subwoofer to my Roku 4K Ultra streaming box and use it as an additional subwoofer in conjunction with my existing LG S95TH soundbar system? If this is possible, would the Roku Bass Pro function independently or integrate with the overall audio output from my current setup?
Hey @PCSAR,
Thanks for reaching out!
The Roku Ultra is designed purely for streaming and doesn’t support direct pairing with Roku audio accessories like the Roku Wireless Bass Pro Subwoofer. To use the subwoofer, you’ll need a compatible Roku audio device such as the Roku Streambar or Roku Streambar Pro, which have built-in speakers and support Roku wireless audio products.
You may check out here for Roku sound system configurations.
I hope this helps
