Roku TV not showing up on screen mirroring device list

As the title says, my Roku TV is not showing up on either my phone or my laptop's screen mirroring list when I try to connect. It worked yesterday but not today.

I have done factory resets, network resets, disconnected and reconnected wifi, checked for updates, and triple checked that none of the devices were on the auto-block list. I am at a loss so any help would be great. Roku's customer support has been less that lacking, to say the least.

Re: Roku TV not showing up on screen mirroring device list

I had this issue once with an Amazon Fire stick, not my tv yet..  it was because half my devices were on 2.4 ghz network, other half were on the 5 ghz network.  Have you tried making sure everything's on the same band?  I know some of the routers will randomly switch you back and forth as needed.  Once I had everything specifically connected to the 5ghz, problem solved.   I had to get into the router to rename the wifi connections, *Whatever* and *Whatever5G* to make sure.
