Have also been experiencing the blown speaker crackle for awhile now, and with all the bass in 3 Body Problem, it's even more noticeable now. We never play our speaker loud, it's in the bedroom, but is somehow blown and distorting. Updates checked and applied often.

We have tried unplugging and replugging both power and HDMI cables, system/factory reset and running system updates. It does it at all volumes and on all apps/channels. I've tried different HDMI inputs on the TV from the roku, but that shouldn't matter. I tried to find a way to bypass even using the speaker to at least use it as just a Roku device with TV sound, but that does not appear to be an option. I even shook it a little to see if there is debris in it, as I saw a youtube video of someone finding broken pieces of plastic inside of it, but I did not hear anything moving around.

Has Roku come up with any fixes for this? I got my Streambar Pro in February, and it crackles a lot, and the sound often drops out to nearly nothing, just like everyone else here.
