Roku Streambar - Two Issues

Since there is no power saving for stream bar my unit rarely goes to sleep or deep sleep.    Every once in awhile if everything is off and press Roku Home button it will turn on the TV.  So it has something to do with power saving though it's not a setting the user can change.

Re: Roku Streambar - Two Issues

Hi, @ad34754932

Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community.

To ensure that we got your concern right, you have a concern with your Roku Streambar that powers on when pressing the Home button from the remote after it has been powered off. We'd like to gather more details so we can assist you further with this matter.

  • You mentioned that the streambar is powered off and turns on the TV when pressing the Home button, may we know if the streambar has been powered off through the remote's power button?
  • When did you first experience the issue?
  • On standby, is the Roku Streambar on the screensaver when pressing the Home button?

With more details, our team can understand the situation better and can proceed with the necessary steps to assist.

Keep us posted.

Best wishes,
Kash

Re: Roku Streambar - Two Issues

If the Stream bar LED is OFF and press the HOME button on the remote the TV will turn on and Roku will be on Home Screen.   If the Stream Bar LED is blinking, indicating sleeping, and I press the HOME button, the TV will not turn on.   In this case, I press the Roku Power Button to turn on the TV.

  • When did you first experience the issue?

This has been an issue since my purchase.

  • On standby, is the Roku Streambar on the screensaver when pressing the Home button?

If the RoKu SB is on standby indicated by the blinking LED and I press the HOME button the TV will not turn on.  If I press HOME then POWER, yes Roku is on the Home Screen.
