Roku Streambar Pro Switch Wireless Speakers Off

Is it possible to turn the wireless speakers off and just use the streambar’s internal speakers? If not, can I switch to just using the TV’s speakers?

Ideally, I’d like to use the programmable buttons on the remote to switch back and forth between using the internal speakers and full wireless surround.

Re: Roku Streambar Pro Switch Wireless Speakers Off

Hi @teckn0,

Thanks for the inquiry, and welcome to the Roku Community!

No, unfortunately, when Roku wireless speakers are connected to your Roku TV or to your TV, the speakers inside your TV are disabled.

You can unpair the wireless speakers on the Streambar to use it internal speaker.

Note: The audio on your TV will be disabled once it's connected to your Roku Streambar.

Thanks,
Rey

Thanks for your response.

Would it harm the speakers or subwoofer to turn them on and off with smart switches? That would be much easier than unpairing and pairing them.
