I have a TCL Roku TV with a Roku Streambar. They both work great together and initial setup was very easy. The only issue is a noticeable lag between when I press the volume buttons and when the volume actually changes on the TV and soundbar. Sometimes the change doesn't occur until multiple seconds later.
Obviously it isn't a huge deal, but it does get annoying especially late at night when something is unexpectedly loud and I want to quickly turn it down. Any help on how to fix this lag would be greatly appreciated!
Hi @Oranguman,
Greetings from the Roku Community!
We're glad to assist you with your volume adjustment issue on your Roku Streambar. Please try to power cycle your Roku streambar by unplugging it from the power outlet and plugging it back in again. The purpose of a power cycle is to reset the device's internal circuits, dismiss temporary glitches, and allow the system to start afresh. You can also try to restart your system by going to Settings > System > Power > System restart (if you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step) and try to restart your modem and router to refresh the connectivity of the network. After doing so, please see to it that your system is up-to-date.
Let us know if it works, and we'll be glad to assist you further.
Kind regards,
Eunice
