For the past year and a half Roku's units have been making a random high pitched noise followed by a sound loss. I have tried multiple units with multiple cables and multiple sound bars. This has something to do with the box itself or the firmware. Roku continues to neglect the problem and posts generic fixes in hopes people will go away but the fact is the problem continues. They need to start looking at what is causing this on their units. Im about a minute away from throwing out all 4 of my boxes and switching to someone else for streaming. This is ridiculous. Fix the problem.
