Will this be fixed? I am in the UK and have the same issue, it is like the music should come from the surround speakers. These are not available in the UK!

Changing to a stereo soundtrack on Netflix sorts this, but cannot be done on most of the platforms Disney+, Apple etc.

Looks like the streambar is going back which is a real pity.

Doubt it will get fixed, ongoing now for a year or so now. I dumped by Streambar it's pure junk, no good if you can't listen to music!

What did you change to, did you get a soundbar you were happy with?

I switched back to my older Roku Stick, at least i can hear things with it.

Switched back to my Streambar to check for an update..one was there 12.0.0 Build 4184-95 and my sound seems to be working when music is being played in a scene. I will need to check a few channels to make sure it is working across the board.

Good news that the issue may be fixed. A pity that I sent mine back.
