-when did you start seeing this issue occur
Day 1
Note, this did not provide a tracker ID:
"when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times"
It did, however, reboot the TV and resolve the issue.
This time I was watching youtube tv v1.0 build 930000046
You can also just unplug the TV and plug it back in. That also resolves the audio issue.
Only briefly. You can also use
Home -> System -> Restart
or
Home x 5 and Left x 5
Happened again today, at power up. Using netflix. Soft restart restored vilume.
I have now Disabled Fast Start. If this fails, my Next step will be to disable power down (15 min), then auto power off (4hrs).
Since Walmart limits returns to 15 days, further testing will be limited.
It has been 72 hours since we disabled fast restart, and no loss of audio since then.
As for contacting Onn support, as Roku recommended earlier, this was their response:
"While we would love to support you here, we cannot help for this specific legacy model of onn. TV. However, we can direct you to a couple of resources that will be able to help!"
Note: This TV was a black Friday deal purchased new from Walmart two weeks ago. Based on their support response, it will be my last Onn product.
@AngeryONNbuyer wrote:Ok y’all so what worked for me on my tv was changing the settings on the fast turn on. And disabled it. Since I did that no issues with lost sound settings>system>power>Fast TV Start>Dissabled
It was daily before, no outages for 96 hours now. This seems to have been the fix for us.
Mine doesn't have a fast start option 😞
This worked! Thanks alot!

https://youtu.be/fUBZe2Z48XA This worked to restore sound on my tv, try it!
Press home button 5xup arrow 1x
rewind button 2x
fast forward button 2x
you have to do it quick succession but once you get it right, your screen will flip out for a min and the TV will restart. I was about to buy a new tv.
Two weeks have passed. No further issues since turning off Fast Tv Start.
We’re all having the same issue with no sound. Unplugging every day (or more) shouldn’t be necessary on a new tv. What works for me is this:
Settings
System
Power
System Restart
this just restarts Roku, doesn’t mess with any of your settings, just turns tv off and right back on. I hope this works for you. Good luck
