I’ve been having trouble with sound every time I switch from Roku apps to Xfinity cable. When I purchased the streambar there were no issues at all. A few months back it started to give me problems with sound. Today it stopped all together. Now every time I want to watch Xfinity cable I have to the tv settings to change the output from sound system to tv in order to hear sound. I have removed the cables, reboot tv and soundbar, unplugged the power source for nothing. Can someone tell me what the problem is.
Welcome to the Roku Community, @arturo3002!
We understand that you're encountering trouble with your Roku Streambar's audio when switching back to cable. We're here to help.
Have you tried changing the HDMI cable on your Roku Streambar? We recommend replacing it with a high-speed HDMI cable to see if that improves your experience. You may also try it on a different TV port if that would work.
Please let us know if this works for you.
All the best,
Emman

I am having the same issue. The Streambar works for the Roku app on my Samsung tv but does not work when watching Directv or any other streaming service.
