I agree. I sent back the first unit and got a replacement Streambar.
Same problem. The thing keeps dropping the signal and rebooting. Happens 3 or 4 times a day.
Roku needs to come up with a fix.

It's unfortunate. I really excited for this when it was announced and I really really wanted this to work. Alas I will be returning the Streambar and going back to my previous set up with my Streaming Stick.
Anyone who's read the comments here knows I have the same problem but I've found that unplugging the Streambar for about 30-seconds, every day, will keep it from rebooting. At least that seems to work, so far.
Streambar purchased in Nov and it has been rebooting randomly since I have started using it but today has been border line ridiculous.
I am using the Xfinity Stream app and it has been rebooting once every 30-45 minutes. It hasn't been this bad previously so I do think it may be related to using the xfinity app but it does not occur on my roku ultra or my TCL roku TV.
I have tried everything mentioned in this thread, restarted, uplugged, made sure it is on latest version.

Problem originally reported 12/13 is getting worse. Now up to 6 freeze/reboots per day.
Hitting home button 5 times followed by back button 5 times produces no results so I'm still unable to provide a tracker ID.
