New Polaroid tv that won’t update

I’ve just bought a 24” Polaroid Roku tv and having connected to Wi-Fi it will not go past searching for updates, tried turning it off then back in, tried connecting through my phone but it won’t as I have a poor signal. Very frustrating having a new tv and it not working, any help would be appreciated.

  1. Restart your modem/router to enable a seamless connection. You'll want to make sure that the Roku TV is getting a good signal strength.
  2. Unplug your Roku TV from the power source for a minute and plug it in again.
  3. Try a mobile hotspot to proceed with searching for the updates phase.
