Line down middle of 65 in

Jump to solution

White line down the middle of my screen with a green dot at the end of it. I’ve tried unplugging, turning off, resetting, changing color. Nothing helped. It’s only a year old. What could of happened? This very sad with it being quit new. Is there something else we can try or is this tv just done?

Thanks for keeping us in the loop, @Sherlj.

Based on the photo you sent, it looks like a hardware issue. We would recommend reaching out to the TV manufacturer to report the problem and get help.

Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their Roku OS products.

Hi @Sherlj,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

Thanks for letting us know about the trouble you've experienced with your Roku TV and the steps you took to resolve it.

We'd be more than happy to look into this further. For us to help you better, we will ask a set of questions to isolate the issue:

  • When did you notice the issue start?
  • What is your device's OS version?
  • Are there any changes in the setup or settings of your Roku device or your network provider that might cause the problem?
  • Does the issue only occur on a specific channel while streaming or throughout the Roku platform?

For troubleshooting purposes, we recommend restarting your Roku device from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power > System restart (if you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).

Please keep us posted on what you find out, and we'll continue assisting you from there.

All the best,
Chel
