Re: How can I add a TV Streaming not on the TV

Your subject line doesn't really explain what you want to do. What do you have, and what do you want to do with it?

If you mean to add streaming to a non-smart TV, that is exactly what devices like a Roku provide. All you need is an HDMI jack on a HDTV. If it's an older TV without HDMI jacks, then you have to use adapters/converters, which can be problematic at times. Your TV must have HDMI jacks (at least one for the Roku) and the TV must support a 720p/1080p/(2160p for 4K) video signal. If your TV is less than 10 years old, it should be fine for those requirements. There are some early HDTVs that had HDMI jacks but wouldn't support one of those video formats.

Re: How can I add a TV Streaming not on the TV

I have a new Roku TV. I already have a streaming service from another residence. I want to add it to my Roku TV.

OK. What streaming service are you referring to? If it's based on a cable provider, you probably can't access from a different house unless you have the same cable provider.

If it's something like Prime Video, Netflix, Vudu, Disney+, or some other service like that, you simply install the channel needed on your Roku TV and use the same credentials to log in as you do at the other location.
