Have to keep unplugging Roku TV to screen mirror...

I have the same issue. System reset works. It's still very inconvenient considering all they have to do is reset the format so roku can see the connection. Not happy, but what do you do...

Re: Have to keep unplugging Roku TV to screen mirror...

Hi @11HillBilly11

Thanks for the first post to the Roku Community!

We understand you are having trouble using the screen mirroring feature with your Roku TV.

But first, are the devices connected to the same internet connection?

If so, you may follow the steps below:

Try checking your network connection:

  1. Press Home Button on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select Network
  4. Select Check connection

If the issue persists, try updating the software of your streaming device:

  1. Press Home Button on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Software update
  5. Select Check Now to manually check for updates

To know more about screen mirroring, you can visit this support article: How to use AirPlay and HomeKit with your Roku streaming device.

Please keep us posted on what you find out; we'll continue assisting you from there.

All the best,
Chel
