HELP! With technology? please help

Jump to solution

So my mother-in-law is 78 years old. We got her Internet and YouTube TV as it was cheaper than cable. She knows how to use that pretty well but is afraid to use any other streaming services. So I had a thought. Is there anyway for me to be able to send her a link to a Netflix show or Hulu or which ever one. That way she could click on the link and it would take her straight to it

Thank you for your post in the Roku community, @martisg1

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and suggestions with us. We appreciate your input!

While we don't have the feature you're looking for at the moment, we'll make sure to pass along your suggestions to the appropriate team for consideration.

Perhaps this could be considered as a helpful suggestion. If you have a Roku Voice remote, you can use it to search directly for what you're looking for using the push-to-talk button. Alternatively, you can use the Roku mobile app remote to search for channels easily.

It may also be helpful to move the app to the upper part of your list or mark it as a favorite for easier access.

For further information, you may visit our support page on How to move channels on your Roku® streaming device. and on How to set up a favorites channel list with Roku's Live TV Channel Guide

Hope you'll find this info useful. Let us know in case you still have any questions.

Best regards,
Jharra
