I am having same problems! help me too. idk how to message you .
Hi @blah876,
Thanks for reaching out to the Roku community!
I'd be happy to look closely to see how we can help. As a first step, could you try to replace the HDMI cable or connect the device to a different HDMI port on your TV usually helps resolve the issue?
To help troubleshoot the issue further, follow this link: What to do if you see an “HDCP Error Detected” message or a purple screen | Official Roku Support
Please let us know and we'll continue assisting you from there.
Best regards,
Mary
You are running into HDCP issue and since the Roku TV is not HDCP compliant, you are getting the error message. This is a common issue with non- Roku HDCP compliant TVs and you can't do anything to fix this from the Roku side.
So does Roku just want us all to return our product? It's really frustrating they don't have a solution other than major tech language or, "idk, plug it in then unplug it then repeat."
