Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
I checked for updates today. See version 14.5 now & installed it. Seems to be working properly now. Fingers crossed it holds up and they don’t break it again.
Still really salty about general lack of communication from Roku, this sucked living with this for 2 months on a brand new TV. Wonder what will go wrong and take forever to get fixed next.

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
I checked for updates yesterday afternoon and hadn't gotten anything yet, so hopefully soon. Keep us updated if 14.5 is the fix. 🤞

@Bigcbee wrote:Yep. They don’t want to talk about it. I contacted them a few days ago via their support page on X, and they said my tv doesn’t even have an auto brightness feature. Complete joke.
On top of that Roku is having an insane sale on their pro tvs on Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. Makes you wonder if they are trying to get rid of them or a new version will be released.
Really Now, Umm - That's because it's not working!!!
Patience is wearing thin, please REMIND US ALL AGAIN, why is this marked as solved? IT IS NOT SOLVED until the fix update pushes out to the affected ROKU PRO SERIES TV's affected by the previous Roku OS update SNAFU that rendered the auto brightness issue.

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
The new version 14.5 that I installed this past Sunday night continues to work properly for me. Hopefully y’all are able to do manual check for updates and pull it.

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
Been checking daily for an update and haven't received 14.5 yet, but glad to hear it seems like it is the fix 👍

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
I just got my 65" pro two days ago and immediately noticed this problem. How is one person seeing a 14.5 update (that seems to include a fix to this), but mine says there are no updates available. I have 14.1.4.
Does anyone know any details on how their update rollouts work? Can we get added to a list to be an early adopter for new releases?
Thanks.

Re: Auto Brightness Not Working when Powering On
No one knows how their updates work and Roku hasn't given much information over the years. There's TV owners that haven't even received 14.1 yet and others have received 14.5.
