The issue has been the same for over 4 years now. Your troubleshooting steps to fix the issue doesn't work with none of my 7 TVs or 60,000 plus people in the community complaining. If you read everything in the audio forums you will find that you and Direct TV streaming corporations need to come together and comprehend the issue and not what you can make every customer do on their individual end which could be causing damage to their sound boards that you all when then also be responsible for.
I was just coming here to post about this same issue. It's actually getting worse. I was watching a show and it happened twice within the span of a couple hours. And I have also noticed that recently hitting the back button is severely delayed so I have to wait several seconds at high volume before I can exit. It happens on both my devices and so frequently it makes the Roku nearly unenjoyable. I'm about ready to toss it in the trash if they can't fix it.
Exactly
Thinking about about taking this to DirectTV corporate after I toss all my Rokus completely myself
Roku is becoming a terrible service provider combined with horrible customer service, satisfaction and appreciation.
