Audio Problems when using PC Wireless

Jump to solution

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone has had my issue. When I have my PC display to my Roku Streambar via wireless connection, both the image and the audio quickly become horrible. They lag, cut out, randomly speed up, and then they will play normally for a few seconds before starting to glitch again. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Welcome to the Roku Community, @pelmenieater46!

We understand that you're experiencing trouble with the audio of your Streambar when connected wirelessly to your PC. We're here to assist you with your concerns.

Have you considered connecting the device directly to your television? Doing so can help determine whether the issue lies with the device itself or elsewhere in your setup. Additionally, I recommend using an HDMI cable for the connection, as this can offer a more stable and secure link compared to wireless options, especially if you're streaming content through your PC. This step can help ensure a smoother streaming experience and assist in pinpointing any potential problems.

Please let us know what you find out.

All the best,
Emman
