9020x speakers have been working fine. Overnight they quit. Have a TCL Roku TV with latest update. After trying to connect, I “Forgot” the speakers and tried to pair again with no luck. Also, I then unplugged and reconnected, then pushed the pair button on both speakers. Upon pushing the pair button, got the expected audio instructions. But on its own, the right speaker says the same audio instructions every 3 minutes. Left speaker doesn’t do this. That’s as far as I get.

Hi @Tamesnc1,
Thank you for keeping us posted in the Roku Community!
We appreciate you letting us know about your problem with your Roku speakers. We will work with you to know what went wrong so we can assist you further and fix the issue. When your Roku host device is searching for your wireless speakers, it may not be able to find one or both speakers if:
- A speaker is not powered on. When you connect the power cable, each speaker powers on, automatically enters pairing mode, and remains in pairing mode until it connects to your Roku host device. To check if a speaker is powered on and in pairing mode, look for a status LED on the back of the speaker that flashes repeatedly as pairing instructions are repeated every 3 minutes. If you do not see light from the LED, check that the power outlet is working and try reconnecting the power cable.
- The speakers are too far from your Roku host device. Your wireless speakers are designed to be placed within 30 feet of your Roku host device. Try pairing your wireless speakers again after moving them closer.
- There is wireless interference. Avoid installing your wireless speakers near other wireless devices like your wireless router or a microwave. It is best to have a direct line of sight from each speaker to your Roku host device with no electronics, metal, or concrete obstructing the path. Move the speakers and try pairing them again.
- A speaker is paired to another Roku host device. Press and hold the Reset button on the back of the speaker for 10 seconds, and then listen for audible instructions to try pairing again.

Re: 9020x Roku speakers stopped working overnight
Hi @Tamesnc1,
Thanks for reaching us here in the Roku Community!
We see that you're having an issue getting back these wireless speakers paired and we'd like to help.
We recommend performing a full restart on both devices. You can start with the Roku TV by navigating to Settings>>System>>Power>>System restart. The follow-up with the restart, If you prefer, you can factory reset your speakers from the Roku interface. Go to Settings > Remotes & devices > Audio devices > Wireless speaker (Left) > Factory reset, and then repeat for Wireless speaker (Right).
For more information, you can visit our support page here: How to resolve audio playback issues on your Roku wireless speakers.
Hope this works!

Rey

Re: 9020x Roku speakers stopped working overnight
Tried your suggestion with factory reset of TCL Roku TV. It found the speakers with no problem automatically. Speakers worked until the next day. Did a factory reset again. Now when trying to connect the speakers as new (only choice), screen says it cannot find the speakers after a considerable delay. I have pressed the speaker buttons, both say they are paired to another device. Light stays on, does not blink. There never was an option to reset the speakers either day.

Re: 9020x Roku speakers stopped working overnight
When powering on the speakers, they do not go into pairing mode. The light does not flash intermittently, just constantly on. The speaker says the speaker is already paired. Both speakers say the same thing. When pressing the pairing button 10 seconds, the speaker says the same thing. At no point do the speakers pair with a new device. I cannot pair these speakers. Everything was fine a week ago.

Re: 9020x Roku speakers stopped working overnight
How do I totally factory reset these speakers? Instructions posted earlier do not allow a factory reset through the screen choices on my TCL Roku TV.

Hi @Tamesnc1,
Thanks for keeping us updated!
We're sorry to hear about this. May we ask if you tried the troubleshooting steps that have been provided above by @RokuEuniceL on how to resolve issues pairing your Roku wireless speaker? Also, to check if a speaker is powered on and in pairing mode, look for a status LED on the back of the speaker that flashes repeatedly as pairing instructions are repeated every 3 minutes. If you do not see light from the LED, check that the power outlet is working and try reconnecting the power cable.
Please keep us posted on what you find out.
All the best,

Re: 9020x Roku speakers stopped working overnight
Nothing suggested has worked. Please read through all my replies to track this thread. Are 9020x speakers somehow incompatible with the latest updates? The instructions for pairing only apply to other speaker models I’ve noticed, but 9020x are not listed.
I need for someone to dig deeper than the current level of support. So far it has been a waste of time with no resolution. We’ve now gone for a considerable amount of time without use of these speakers.
