looking for a broadcast antenna that actually works

Does  anyone have a recommendation for a broadcast antenna that actually works. I've tried a few with no luck. I live around 35 miles from the broadcast towers

Re: looking for a broadcast antenna that actually works

This is probably not the greatest place for that question – I don’t recall much discussion of antennas here.

You might start by plugging your location into antennaweb and viewing the results.  Note that even when antennaweb says you can get by with a small omnidirectional (which it won’t at your distance) it means a small outdoor antenna mounted at least 20 feet off the ground.  They don’t try to predict indoor antennas at all.  You want as clear a line of site as you can to the transmitting antenna, so your mounting position may matter as much as the antenna.

Banned but back. Because why not?
