suddenly i can't access xfinity streaming service. i have all the other channels. xfinity said i should update my roku so i just bought a new one but having the same problem. it says i have to sign in and when I try, it loops me into the xfinity mobile app and keeps going around.
is it true I have to buy a new TV?

I don't know if you need a new TV. I can tell you we bought a brand new TV yesterday and we are having the exact same problem.
This is happening to me as well.
Roku Express 4k+
software version 12.5.0 build for 178 – E4.
First Xfinity screen appears
Second Xfinity screen appears. (now connecting you to your entertainment experience.)
Live TV screen appears and quickly disappears. Roku resets to the Roku home menu.
It is happening on the Roku Xfinity app version 6.14 build 0
Using the Xfinity app on my iPad works fine
all other apps work. Disney, Netflix Pluto etc…
The Xfinity app was working earlier in the day. (November 1.)
resetting the Roku has no effect.
I’m having the same issue as @Scott999. My issue started 11/01/23 around 930pm and it is still on going. Xfinity works fine on my mobile devices. I’ve tried resetting the system. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the Xfinity app.
This is happening all over and Roku nor xfinity are doing anything about it
Same issue here in Richmond Va. xfinity stream works on all devices EXCEPT Roku.
