Classic Reel movies won't run on Vizio Smart TV
FIRST, DO NOT , DO NOT buy a Vizio Smart TV.. you will PAY FOR EVERYTHING .. and those movies you do not have to pay for, you will be forced to sit thru the same satutated repeting ads. i.e. I was watching a Star Trek movie and for every 7min 18 seconds of movie time, Vizio inserted 2 minutes of ad time-same ads repeting themselves..majority BIG PHARMA anywhere from 12 -14 times during the length of the movie... so forevery 7 minutes of movie, you get 2 minutes commercials anywhere between 12 -14, 16 times ..
Next up the movies I can watch ad free on Classic Reel old horror movies, i.e Frankenstien , Wolfman . as we wanted to play those on Halloween like we always do .. NOT FREE thru Vizio. Vizio sends us to apps which charge you anywhere from $2.99 upwards .. on Classic Reel app $1.99/month ad free movies .
So my question is this, why won't Roku Classic Reel app play movies on my Vizio Smart TV.. Cause it's going back if we can't get this worked out. The app is downloaded, the apploads, titles appear, when I go to watch a movie, the title appears than the screen goes back to Home page...
CAVEAT EMPTOR !!!! AGAIN, DO NOT BUY A VIZIO Smart TV you will be clobbered w/ saturation repeting commercials or have to pay for everything else you want to watch.

Re: Classic Reel movies won't run on Vizio Smart TV
I don't understand what you're saying. "Roku Classic Reel app"? There's no such thing as a Roku app on any device other than a Roku device (with the possible exception being "The Roku Channel", but it's still not a "Roku app" unless it's running on a Roku device). Different smart TV OSs require different apps. They may look the same, but it's completely different code. You can either take the TV back or connect a Roku device to it and not use the Vizio apps.
