I have 3 Roku devices, A Walmart brand 24" Roku TV, a 32" ROKU brand TV and a ROKU Ultra streaming box. The ROKU Channel and ROKU Live TV streaming has stopped working on all 3 devices. All other channels, Acorn, Britbox, Paramount +, etc work fine. Since it is on all 3 devices I can't figure out the problem. I've tried these troubleshooting techniques:
1. unplugged router and modem
2. Disabled anti virus and firewall. Confirmed no VPN
3. Did a system restart through the home screen
4. Uninstalled the ROKU channel app and reinstalled it
5. Eventually did a factory reset
Every single troubleshooting technique has failed. Everything else works fine on all three devices.
UPDATE I spent about an hour with ROKU support. One last troubleshooting technique: We fired up the hotspot on my phone, connected to it and it appears to work. Somehow there is a network setting possibly that doesn't let the ROKU channel through but everything else does. Wierd. I guess I'll need to review with mu ISP or Eero router.
Since the hotspot worked, try using some DNS settings like the public Google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for testing. (Restart both the router and the Roku devices after changing the DNS).
I would disable IPv6 for testing. See if you can get IPv4 working with the Roku Channel. Then move on to IPv6 enabling. (keep all your firewall settings low or off for testing, and keep vpn disabled). May need to turn off the vpn client as well. (ie. openvpn)
