YouTube doesn't start/load.

Yesterday I googled that people were having this issue. The app was 2.24, and now it reads 2.23. Still having the same issue where it doesn't boot up.

We appreciate you for sharing with us the issue you have encountered with the YouTube app that doesn't start or load on your Roku device, and our team assist you in resolving this issue. We would recommend performing a troubleshooting step that we'll provide below that you can perform. 

To resolve the issue with YouTube, follow the instructions:

Software update

  1. Press Home 
     
     on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Software update
  5. Select Check Now to manually check for updates

Once this has been performed, kindly follow the additional steps below to ensure more effective troubleshooting actions.

  1. Navigate to the channel tile on the Roku home screen, press the star (*) key on your remote, and choose "Remove channel".
  2. Next, restart your device from Settings > System > Power > System Restart (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).
  3. Once your player/TV starts up again, go to "Streaming Store" on the Home screen, and add the channel back once more.
